This position works within the Server & Storage Team and reports to the Server & Storage Supervisor and will provide technical leadership on highly complex and mission critical IT systems for information systems and network infrastructure to support the collection of tax payments.
The IT System Administration
Identity and Access Management:
Install, test, validate, deploy, upgrade, maintain and manage the department's Domain Services, Active Directory (AD), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), etc. to meet Department and other regulatory requirements.
Monitor, administer, configure, implement and maintain AD Domain Services in the pre-prod, user and resource domains, such as AD, DNS, DHCP, etc.
Perform operational tasks as a Domain Administrator.
Verify/remediate AD Replication.
Monitor and Remediate SCOM alerts related to Domain Controllers.
Monitor DHCP and DNS.
Monitor DC and DHCP server disk space.
Verify servers and workstations are in the correct OU, report anomalies to IAM Sr/Specialist.
Patch Domain Controllers.
Create/update/delete DNS entries.
Add/remove/monitor DHCP scopes.
Systems Administration:
Install, test, validate, deploy, upgrade, maintain and manage new and existing network infrastructure and systems to meet department and other regulatory requirements.
Provide high-level technical administration for coordination, installation, and promotion of agency-wide mission-critical systems.
Efficiently administer and support DOR's computing environment, ensuring adherence to security, DOR standards, and handling computer account administration.
Perform analysis and monitoring to ensure all Identity and Access Management systems stay current with all monthly critical and security patches released by the vendor to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Work closely with WaTech staff and DOR teams to ensure business needs are met.
Collaborate with technical leads and SME's to ensure the appropriate experts are included in the planning and implementation of changes to the DOR computing environment.
Administration and support of print services.
Issue Tracking Administration:
Review and triage priority of tickets assigned to Network Services staff.
Ensure tickets have all the necessary information for technicians. Coordinate with Network Services staff regarding base information needs.
Work with Network Services supervisors, Service Desk supervisors and Service Desk leads to mitigate repeating issues (lack of information, incorrect assignment) in tickets.

Expert level knowledge in the following areas gained through 4 years of experience. (Experience may have been gained simultaneously):
File and Printer server administration, troubleshooting and resolution.
Email administration, troubleshooting and resolution.
Identity and Access Management administration, troubleshooting and resolution.
AND
One year experience in creating, modifying, and troubleshooting scripts and workflows.
