Danaher's Life Sciences and Diagnostics teams are looking for bright and innovative individuals to join our iDEAS Program. iDEAS (Innovation Defines Engineers and Scientists) is a highly competitive, inter-site science and engineering program to jump start your career. Over the span of 18 months, this rotational program offers a smooth transition from academia to industry while having the opportunity to work on 3 different, 6 month long projects in both technical and non-technical functions (Commercial, Marketing and IT).
The intent of this program is to provide exposure to the Danaher Business System (DBS), product knowledge, networking, customer site visits, development training, and visibility to product and service functions that will position you to advance your career within the organization.
We are looking for Engineers and Scientists that have an interest in R&D or Quality and Regulatory fields to land within the following Operating Companies: Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, Cepheid, Leica Biosystems, Phenomenex, and Radiometer.
We are looking to place individuals in the following locations (please note that we are looking for individuals who are open to relocate for the right opportunity):

Must have permanent US Work Authorization (US opportunities)
Must be fully completed with your degree program and able to start by early July 2019
One year or less of post-graduation industry experience
Demonstrated leadership potential through internships, academic departments, clubs, research projects, etc.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Strong technical knowledge
Ability to adapt under conditions of ambiguity, and able to adapt to new assignments
Strong data analytics and problem solving skills

Qualifications Specific to Scientist Students:
Open to current PhD candidates completing their degree prior to July 2019
Postdoc PhD candidates with up to four years post program completion:
Immunology, Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology or related discipline
Peer-reviewed publications, including at least one first author publication
