VCA Cheshire Animal Hospital is a 24-hour emergency/specialty/general practice in picturesque Cheshire, Connecticut.
We are looking for qualified, experienced Technicians to share in an exciting, fast paced environment with a focus on critical care and emergency medicine. The candidate MUST be able to work overnight and weekends. Previous emergency experience HIGHLY preferred. Previous veterinary technician experience a MUST. Candidate must be client oriented and have excellent customer service skills.
We are a 24-hour emergency/specialty practice looking for Technicians with positive personalities; whose attributes reflect attention-to-detail, self-motivation, compassion, and reliability. Physical examinations and patient assessment
Surgical preparation and assisting
Compassionate care for hospitalized patients
Must have documented previous experience in veterinary medicine
Flexibility in hours including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
Customer service skills
Working knowledge of computers
Excellent communications skills
Capable of being cross-trained as receptionist
Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
