Voca Health has immediate openings available for Travel or local Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Critical Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse (RN) professionals in Sayre, PA!

Assignment Details
Specialty:
ICU RNs use advanced skills to care for patients who are critically ill and at high risk for life-threatening health problems. ICU patients include but arent limited to heart attack, stroke, shock, severe trauma, or respiratory distress, multiple organ failure, sepsis, and other critical conditions. Because of the critical nature of the patients, it is standard that ICU RNs only have one or two patients on a shift. Patients are on very specialized equipment and multiple medications.
The Intensive Care Unit is sometimes referred to as the Intensive Therapy Unit, Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU), or Critical Care Unit (CCU).
Qualifications
3 years of ICU RN experience
Shifts:
12 hour days
Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, RN license required

The professional we select will provide efficient coordination and supervision of acute care staff. In addition, this individual will provide dialysis services to hospitalized patients as prescribed by physicians. Position requires on-call rotation. The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials. EDUCATION: * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. * Current appropriate state licensure. * Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: * Minimum of one year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred. * Six months of hemodialysis experience preferred. * ICU experience preferred but not required. * Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis. * Successfully complete CPR Certification. * Familiarity with all emergency operational procedures. * Nurses technical training.
