Assistant Store Manager Opportunity

About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager at Claire's, you will support your Store Manager with the following;

  • Sales and profit: Driving and achieving retail store targets

  • Customer service: delivering the finest level of customer service

  • Store operations: keeping the store running smoothly

  • Commerciality: Ensuring your store is well merchandised and commercially correct

  • Team leadership: Assisting Store Manager in training and coaching the store team to enhance their skills and career development

  • Ear piercing (you will receive full training)

About You

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum one year retail management experience

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills

  • Basic computer skills

  • Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills

  • Understands the importance of Customer Service

  • Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem solve

  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts

  • Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally

  • Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers

  • Ability to operate POS system

VIEW JOBS 7/7/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-10-05T00:00 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for an energetic, experienced, and passionate Sr. Life Skills Coach who will: * Interviewing children and families; Conducting youth assessments; Preparing and carrying out social plans with children and families; Preparing and maintaining case records. * Supervising youth in Independent living arrangement; Conduct weekly Community Life Skills Groups, review youth's progress with Life Skills Development, and discuss barriers with the Program Supervisor to determine appropriate activities and events. * Coordinating services to minimize fragmentation of care, reduce barriers, and link children with appropriate services to ensure comprehensive, continuous access to needed medical, social, education, and other services appropriate to the needs of the resident; * Preparatory counseling with youth and families for placement or discharge, or both; * Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed. Provide 24 hour on-call service necessary for ensuring the safety of residents and promoting support for Evening Support Staff. * Assists Program Supervisor with monthly mandatory staff meetings as well as all scheduled in-service and other required training. Develops monthly schedule for Evening support staff. EDUCATION: The Sr. Life Skills Coach shall have a Baccalaureate or Masters degree in a human services field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Sociology, Counseling, Special Education, Human Services, Marriage & Family Therapy, etc) and one year of experience providing case management services to children and their families (Student placement can replace the one year of case management) OR any Bachelors degree and two years' experience providing case management services to children and their families. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current Virginia driver's license, safe automobile, and current and sufficient auto insurance. Your driver's license report must comply with the following: A record of -5 or better driving points, no more than 3 accidents or moving violations within the last 3 year period, no driving under the influence (DUI), reckless driving, negligent homicide, hit and run, driving on a suspended license, or permitting an unlicensed person to drive violations within the last 3 year period.
