The Ingham County Health Department (ICHD) VISTA Program focuses on building capacity of Ingham County organizations in the areas of education and economic opportunity. The program emphasizes the importance of professional development and personal growth through monthly trainings, while creating an exceptional AmeriCorps VISTA experience for members during the term of service. Member Duties : The AmeriCorps VISTA member will serve to help ensure that Newcomer (refugee and immigrant) residents receive assistance with post secondary education and implement post secondary training curricula, specifically for culturally diverse audiences.
