Job Summary

ICE! at Gaylord National Resort featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas

Applicants selected should be available to start working November 1, 2018 with all positions ending by January 7, 2019. Hours of availability can range between 7:00am and 10:00pm.

Gaylord National Resort will be casting singers to host our Character Breakfast and perform in our new and improved Mrs. Claus experience. This role will lead holiday sing-a-longs and lead activities with the guests.

Auditions will be held in September and applicants should plan to sing 16 bars of holiday music in your vocal range. Please bring sheet music and/or a musical accompaniment.

Provide entertainment for guests through performances. Be in character while portraying roles.

Memorize scripts and attend rehearsals and performances. Work with director(s), actors, as well as crewmembers responsible for lighting, costumes, makeup, and/or props.

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals.

Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Education * High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required Skills and Experience * Previous retail experience preferred. * Excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills. * Exceptional team and collaboration skills. * Strong PC skills: POS Systems and Microsoft Office.
