IBM WebSphere MQ & Message Broker Operations

  • Work with business clients, project stakeholders, IT personnel and development staff in design, development, and delivery of middleware integration technologies. Lead virtual teams and/or projects towards the delivery of integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus and Message Queue.

    Performs complex analysis of system capabilities and issues. Provide deep technical and functional expertise. Responsible for maintaining and enhancing development best practices and standards.

    In-depth knowledge of software development processes and supporting tools. Acts with a sense of urgency. WebSphere Message Broker/IIB design and development experience, understanding of Publish-Subscribe, Request-Reply, Fire and Forget design patterns.

Must have ESQL based development experience using Integration Bus V10

Working experience with websphere adapters for SAP (RFC, BAPI module etc.) is must.

Understanding of Record & Replay, log4j and Splunk.

Experience with junit and other CICD automation tools"

You will also perform print functions. Specific duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Working three nights per week, from 5 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.</li> <li>A wide range of tasks of varying complexity using many Computer Operator support applications, such as the enterprise job scheduler, printer support programs, Web based tools and several hardware / software monitoring systems.</li> <li>Point of contact for escalations for resolution of issues with batch work flow.  Uses an On-call manual to contact resources and provides them details surrounding the issue.</li> <li>Nightly printer functions on enterprise high speed printers as required to ensure all production schedules are completed as required. This includes performing “QC”(quality control) responsibilities on printed documents and the completion of all required documentation associated with the assigned printing. </li> <li>On a daily basis, lift loads of 25-40 lbs., carry them a short distance, and lift them to chest level.</li> <li>On a daily basis, must kneel and bend to stock paper and load printers, etc.</li> <li>Monitor and enforce data all center security policies and procedures.
