IBM Ipower ERP Developer

Job Description Job Description Spartanburg, SC Order: 975731 Our client has an immediate contract to hire need for an IBM iPower ERP Developer. This position is hybrid with one day onsite per week.

Salary DOE on conversion, but is very competitive. Responsibilities 1. Work with an agile team to deliver high value, high quality software. 2.

Develop enhancements to our existing software based on evolving business requirements. 3. Perform thorough code review and testing of other developers’ contributions. 4. Provide elevated support and maintenance across multiple platforms. 5.

Assist with architecting new software solutions and implement them with minimal oversight. 6. Availability for occasional off hours support. 7. Other duties as assigned by the ERP Manager or Director of Software Development. Qualifications Required

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 3 years of professional experience in ERP development

• Expert with IBM iSeries, RPG, CLP, and SQL.

• Extensive experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, coding, code review, testing, deployment, maintenance). Preferred

• Deep understanding of ERP modules including A/R, A/P, G/L, Purchasing, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, CRM, Reporting.

• Experience working in a mission critical environment.

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure and database administration.

• Expert with DB2 for i and SQL.
