The US Army IBCS is a ground transportable, tactical integrated air and missile defense system fielded to customers domestically and internationally.

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Deputy Mission Support Manager that understands the Systems Engineering process and is experienced with product support technical developments, operations and maintenance. The Deputy Support Manager assists the Mission Support (MS) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead with cost, schedule and performance responsibilities.

The Deputy Support Manager acts on behalf of the MS IPT lead as an interface to the customer for program activities and program review sessions, monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and provides solutions such as allocation of resources.

As part of normal duties, you will assist with:

  • Planning and risk management

  • Project performance addressing cost and schedule

  • Leading IPT level review boards

  • Directing the work of employees assigned to the program

Basic Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years Department of Defense experience
2.A current Secret Security Clearance
3.An understanding of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application
4.A minimum of 10 years management experience
5.Minimum of 10 years product support experience
6.Supply assessment experience
7.Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications:

1.Control Account Manager (CAM) certified
2.International work experience
3.Experience with Air and Missile Defense Tactical Operations
4.Depot maintenance experience
5.Ability to speak Polish

The position supports the US Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS), which is a ground transportable, tactical integrated air and missile defense command and control system. Put your experience to use as a Chief Field Service Engineer (FSE) to assist with the implementation and execution of worldwide Field Service operations supporting the US Army customer foreign military sales case, Poland. As a member of the technical management staff, the Chief FSE is considered the technical expert on field service organization and operations with experience in all aspects of engineering, system, hardware, software, test, and logistics. The successful candidate will have demonstrated solid problem solving skills, keen analytical abilities, excellent communications skills, and strong leadership qualities. Other duty characteristics of the position include: * Working closely with the Technical Management team, the Field Service organization, training organization, and other functional groups * Reviewing plans, procedures and technical documentation for soundness * Participating as a member review boards * Providing the technical interface with product level integrated product teams * Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems * Briefing Senior leadership and customers This position requires extended travel to multiple locations including Poland. Basic Qualifications: 1. Bachelor degree in STEM field (Software or Networking) with 14 years DoD experience. Master's and a minimum of 12 years of direct relevant experience. 2. Ability to travel domestically and internationally. 3. A current Secret Security Clearance 4. Experience operating, maintaining, and instructing IBCS 5. Experience in IPV6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) 6. Proficient knowledge of the IBCS system architecture 7. Ability to act as the field liaison with customer personnel, providing onsite support required for the planning and implementation of product training, checkout and test events. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience with air and missile defense systems tactical operations 2. MS/MBA 3. Ability to speak Polish 4.
