IAM Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an IAM Engineer to join a prominent American multinational law firm, headquartered in Philadelphia 19103.

This role would be contract for 6 months and then convert to full time, direct hire.

Fully remote but being "local" to their office in Philadelphia 19103 is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative IAM strategies and take ownership of these through all phases.

• Provide mentoring to fellow engineers.

• Deliver enterprise-wide Identity, Access Management, and vendors with the capability to support cloud and on-premise application services.

• Represent SME role for ISO 27001 needs and assignments.

• Document the design, operation, and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures.

• Provide scripting solutions to include Powershell, .NET, Python, and LDAP for Identity Access Management (IAM) systems.

• Prepare for and lead recurring key technical, cross-functional, and stakeholder meetings.

• Ensure that Enterprise services and servers remain operational. Using: Active Directory, EntraID and IAM services.

• After-hours support as needed.

• Create and maintain architecture and documentation for IAM systems.

• Prepare documentation for audits and acts as a point of contact for audit issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a 4-year college/university

• [or] 5 years of related experience in an IAM Sr. Administrator or Engineer role

• [or] an equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience with Cloud technologies (Azure).

• Technical skills: Active Directory, EntraID (fka AZUREAD), Azure ADConnect, IAM tools (Example: Quest one identity, NetIQ, Sailpoint, etc.)

• Must be proficient in the following software: Core back-end technologies (Microsoft Windows 2016 Server and above, Varonis, LDAP, Active Directory, Cloud Identity solutions, and related IAM software solutions), ISO 27001 principles, and thorough command of the industry language.

• Scripting skills: PowerShell, etc.

Compensation / Benefits:

• $50-$60/hour. Comparable salary of around $120k upon conversion.

• Flexibly remote. No in office weekly expectations but there may be occasional invite to Philadelphia office.
