Hygiene Assistant

Commonwealth Dentistry is seeking a full-time Hygiene Assistant to join our team. As a Hygiene Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated staff and provide exceptional dental care to our patients. Primary responsibilities include assisting the hygienist during treatment procedures, greeting and seating patients, customizing room setups, reviewing medical histories, taking x-rays, polishing teeth, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene. Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness of treatment rooms, preparing dental materials, and supporting other teams within the office. The ideal candidate will have CPR certification, the ability to professionally communicate treatment plans and insurance information to patients, and a strong attention to detail.
