Hydro Blaster

MPS Group, Inc., is seeking a Hydro Blaster to join our team and be dispatched from our Headquarters located in Farmington Hills, MI. This individual will perform setup, inspects, operates, and maintain.

This position can/or will require disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials for the purpose of cleaning. Responsibilities and Job Duties: Perform hydro-blasting duties, which may involve low pressure to high pressure (from 3,000 psi up to 40,000 psi). Work in industrial settings, including the automotive industry, steel mills, and power plants.

Stay physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle hydro-blasting rigid or flex lances. Manually clean, muck out, and de-sludge various industrial systems, including paint pits, eliminators, dip tanks, process tanks, and conveyors. Wear proper PPE required for hydro-blasting and maintain safe operations.

Use various manual tools and equipment for industrial cleaning operations, such as shovels, scrapers, rakes, and squeegees. Adapt to a position with no set schedule, including weekends and holidays. Requirements and Qualifications:

Must be able to work flexible hours and be willing to travel. High School Diploma. Ability to understand basic operating instructions, safe work practices, and commercial/industrial processes.

Driver's license and or Chauffer's. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to pass a drug test.
