The primary role of this position will be to assemble hydraulic power units of varying size and complexity and testing and troubleshooting of various fluid power products. Specifically, you will:
Essential Functions
Pull necessary parts to prepare for assembly.
Inspect parts and various components.
Build units according to engineering specifications, including, but not limited to:
Component layout
Fabricating miscellaneous brackets and structures
Selection of appropriate tubing and fittings
Tube bending, fabrication and installation
Prep and / or test completed unit.
Adjust components and equipment and perform troubleshooting to identify and correct issues.
Prep and / or paint completed unit.
Clean, organize, and maintain the Shop and Shop equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement through training and associate development.
Potentially travel offsite to help start systems at customer's facilities.
Experience, Education and Skills
High School Diploma or Equivalent OR combination of related training and experience.
1+ years' experience in fluid power assembly required.
3+ years experience preferred.
Advanced mechanical aptitude required.
General metal working & pipe fitting experience preferred.
GMAW carbon steel welding experience preferred.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints, fluid power and electrical schematics/drawings.
Physical Requirements-Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Position requires standing, bending and kneeling 95% to 100% of the workday.
