Job Summary:
This position is for a hydraulic and hydrologic engineer in the Geotechnical & Hydraulic Engineering Services (G&HES) group. You will conduct hydraulic & hydrologic (H&H) analyses and modeling to support design and construction of industrial and civil infrastructure projects, including risk assessment and value engineering. Work entails preparing and checking design calculations and study reports, specifying input data requirements, and collecting and verifying data. You will participate in interdisciplinary work group meetings, coordinate work planning and execution with other technical specialists, and be responsible for the quality and on-time delivery of work products. The work involves supporting projects across all of Bechtel's business units, including liquid natural gas (LNG) and energy transition projects, nuclear power projects, infrastructure projects, and large manufacturing facilities.
