Hybrid- User Experience (Ux) Designer

Job Description:

As a User Experience (UX) Designer you will drive the user experience across a defined area of the product roadmap. You'll collaborate closely with Sr UX Designers in driving the user experience across defined product areas and participate in product discovery. You will assist in communicating the product vision to various stakeholders, to build consensus amongst teams and upper management.

Candidates with a background in designing complex SaaS solutions following established standards will be prioritized.

This is a HYBRID role working 1-2 days IN-OFFICE and 3-4 days working from home on the 1st shift

Pay range is$80-$110k/Yr.

Responsibilities

• Ensure intuitive user experiences across a defined product area, driving innovation, and delighting customers.

• Facilitate the client product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products.

• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.

• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.

• Assist in making strategic decisions on design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.

• Ensure success metrics are defined and revisited after deployment to iterate on delivered solutions.

• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.

• Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.

Experience

• 1-3 years of UX design experience.

• Passion for making high-quality, user-centered products and a demonstrable portfolio to prove it.

• Familiarity in standard UX software such as Figma.

• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions.

• A basic understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking.

• Knowledge of the agile development process with the ability to supervise work whilst planning for future sprints.

Skills

• Ability to communicate UX clearly and effectively and design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.

• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.

• Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.

• Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.

• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.

Nice to have

• Ability to mentor stakeholders and colleagues on good UX/UI and design principles are a plus.

• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
