Hybrid Role Warehouse Manager

This is a mixed-function Warehouse Manager position combining facility maintenance, inventory management, and generator maintenance. This role requires a versatile individual who is mechanically inclined, skilled in inventory management software, and proficient in forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities by Departmental Needs:

Facility Maintenance:

• Provide a clean and safe working environment throughout the facility, including but not limited to:

• Cleaning of the office, break room, locker room, bathroom, and warehouse floors is performed on a biweekly basis.

• When necessary, change the light bulbs.

Weekly duties:

• Inspect each security camera to ensure that it is functioning properly.

• Check the mailbox.

• Verify that the outside lights are functioning.

• Ensure that supplies for the office/bathroom are monitored and restocked in a timely manner.

• Ensure that the lawn is maintained weekly and that snow/ice is removed by the tenants.

Monthly duties:

• Fire extinguishers inspection.

• Emergency lights inspection.

• Inspection and restocking of the First Aid Kit

• Cleaning the filter in the mini split unit in the office.

• Ensure that the septic tank outside is monitored and that any alarms are immediately reported to upper management.

• Periodic inspections of the outside facility to ensure it is in good working order.

Winter Month duties:

• To ensure that the sprinkler system does not freeze, check the heaters weekly.

Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid certificated (Training Provided)
• OSHA 10 and 30 certified within the first 90 days of employment (Training Provided)

Inventory Management:

• Weekly Inventory Audits and maintain inventory management systems for Monroe, MI Warehouse

• Receive parts into Inventory Management System.

• Complete receiving and picking up parts procedures as needed.

Business As Usual (BAU) generator:

• Monthly start-up & repair of market portables in Monroe & Lansing

• Identify and clear One-Link alarms on portables

• Deploy portables on an as needed basis (24 x 7) from Monroe.

• Refuels of fixed or portables.

• Perform PM's on fixed generators located in SE Michigan. (sites that allow travel to site and home during normal work hours, no overnight travel)

• Troubleshoot and repair fixed gens in same range (Sites that have round trip during BAU hours)

• Laptop & monitor to access Magenta Workstation

Emergency Generator:

• Weekly startup of emergency generators (1 trailer per week minimum)

• Perform 1 Minor PM with Load bank and 1 Major PM with DOT inspection per year Per generator as requested. The manager will give a quarterly needs schedule.

• Tracking One Link status and repair as needed (Currently not readable inside the building so not a requirement.)

• Maintain cleanliness of Emergency Generators as needed

• 8-hour shifts with possible overtime in coordination with field crews or current DR events
