Hybrid Lead System Safety Engineer

A client is seeking a Lead Systems Safety Engineer in Huntsville, AL, or Golden, CO. This Lead will ensures the identification of Safety Critical Items and documentation of hazards within complex system designs and procedures.

Typical analyses performed include Fault Tree Analyses, Hazard Analyses, hazard mitigation, Safety risk assessments, and system residual risk assessments for system designs. This is during design and development phase for an initial 9 month period. This person will lead small team of two to three others.
