Hvac Service Supervisor

Job Description Job Description Henick-Lane, a Long Island City, NY-based company, seeks a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as an HVAC Technician Supervisor. In this leadership role, you will oversee and provide quality control for our Local 638 field technicians, reporting directly to senior company executives.

Responsibilities: Manage and supervise a team of field technicians, ensuring efficient project completion and adherence to company standards. Oversee all aspects of HVAC installations, maintenance, and service calls, guaranteeing customer satisfaction. Assist technicians in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, providing expert guidance and solutions.

Mentor junior technicians, fostering their skill development and knowledge growth within the HVAC industry. Implement and maintain a robust quality control program to ensure flawless service delivery. Possess strong customer communication skills to effectively interact with clients and address their inquiries.

Travel between job sites to provide on-site support and oversight to technicians and customers. Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of experience working in the HVAC industry, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role. Proven track record of success in managing and motivating technical teams.

In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair procedures. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with technicians, colleagues, and customers.

Proficiency in computer usage and software applications like Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Sage 100 is a plus.
