We are looking for an experienced HVAC Supervisor to be a leader in field operations, ensuring quality and the best customer relations from all of our Service Technicians.

In this role you will assist with planning and management in the safe and efficient servicing of HVAC equipment, components and systems in residential settings. Utilizes human resources effectively to manage workload, achieve production and margin objectives as well as provide HVAC services to customers and contractors.


Job Description;

  • Supervises and delegates service technicians, which includes assisting in hiring and disciplining of employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, training employees, evaluating performance and supervising work assignments to ensure effective production.

  • Evaluates work load and schedules service work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits.

  • Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs. Schedules repairs for parts to ensure minimal down-time in job completion.

  • Drive to job sites to ensure that employees are performing as expected.

  • Instructs technicians on proper use of materials and quality workmanship.

  • Communicate with technicians to assist with unexpected needs.

  • May conduct job site surveys.

  • Ensures that employees have proper tools for the job and that they are properly maintained.

  • Assists the dispatching operation to ensure appropriate technician selection for type of service.

  • Monitors preventive maintenance of vehicles to ensure proper operation.

  • Evaluates staff to determine training requirements. Provides on-the-job training and support to employees.

  • Oversees facility and equipment maintenance, ensuring that assets are protected and controlled.

Experience and Qualifications;

  • Five or more years in HVAC Management preferred

  • Maryland HVAC Master or Journeyman licensure is required

  • A valid driver's license is required.

  • Must possess a working knowledge of local codes and general industry standards.

  • Strong supervisory, communication, and computer skills are required.

Reporting to the Director of eCommerce, this position is responsible for leading a high volume, fast paced operations team that provides release services for eCommerce shipments. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead a team that will oversee the release entry and billing of high volumes of import shipments * Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance and data quality * Effectively classify a high volume of import shipments daily utilizing the USHTS to determine an accurate classification for each commodity * Ensure all incoming requests are received, prioritized, and completed in a manner that delivers an exceptional client experience * Structure a staffing and scheduling plan that ensures the department is in position for success * Ensures accurate and timely release and classification of shipments * Capture and calculate data that measures performance in the areas of service, productivity, and quality * Coach, counsel, and mentor the associates in the department to facilitate a positive and successful team as well as individual growth and development * Maintain and develop work standards and metrics for the team and facilitate training to address areas of noncompliance * Troubleshoot challenges and liaise with internal and external parties to successfully deliver solutions * Provide technical expertise on customs regulations KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS * Extensive experience classifying a wide range of commodities such as, but not limited to apparel, electronics, jewelry, cosmetics, and toys * 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred * 3-5 years of brokerage, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred * Fully conversant with all applicable Customs laws, regulations, procedures, and industry practices * Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail * Ability to multi-task and prioritize * High analytical ability * Individual and team facilitation skills, including conflict resolution * Technical skills and fully conversant with all applicable Customs Laws, Regulations and Procedures, Industry knowledge and experience, PC skills * Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) WORK EXPERIENCE - MINIMUM REQUIRED 3 years of related experience EDUCATION Required: High School/GED or equivalent COMPETENCIES Leading and Developing Inclusion and Collaboration Business Acumen and Straight Talk Agility Customer First Focus Accountability Livingston is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
