Technical/Professional

Primarily M-F with additional hours & weekends as needed

• Installation of all types of HVAC-Refrigeration equipment in a safe and acceptable manner.

• Install electrical wiring and control wiring as necessary.

• Properly design and size an HVAC&R system.

• Install and repair duct work.

• Utilize proper filtration.

• Troubleshoot and repair, or replace HVAC&R components as necessary.

• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.

• Perform indoor air quality testing.

• Utilize safe working practices.

• Assist with snow removal.

• Respond to after hour emergencies as required; Carry and respond to a departmental pager as necessary.

• Perform clerical tasks related to the position, (EPA regulations) as required and necessary.

• Assist with other maintenance tasks and duties as necessary and required.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor, or his designee.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

1.High School Graduate or equivalent; Graduate of an HVAC&R Vocational Technical Training Program required.

2.Minimum of 3 years experience in the HVAC&R trade preferred.

3.EPA Certification for proper refrigerant practices required.

4.Good verbal and written communication skills.

5.Valid state driver's license required. 6. Must be at least 18 years of age.
