What You Will Be Doing

Performs all duties in a trustworthy manner.
Deals courteously and tactfully with customers, vendors and with other workers in the company and/or in the construction trades.
Prepares and maintains technical drawings for installation projects.
Prepares load analysis and calculations as required.
Provides technical expertise for sales representatives and field personnel.
Prepares cost estimates for piping and installation projects.
Evaluates and provides advice on customers' installation needs, including site visits.
Submits documentation and change orders as necessary for projects in progress.
Orders, obtains, and/or coordinates permits, materials, equipment, cranes, man-lifts and subcontractors as required for each project.
Researches product information and communicates findings both within the company and to customers as necessary.
Maintains technical and diagnostic notes and compiles data to complete reports, forms, records, warranties, invoices and contracts.
Interprets building codes and regulations as they relate to HVACR.
Reads and understands technical materials such as blueprints, installation, maintenance and service manuals, flowcharts, tables and graphs.
Maintains records and documents as required by customers, vendors and/or government agencies.
Monitors costs applied towards jobs and advises of any discrepancies.
Assists in the collection of monies owed on assigned projects.
Operates company systems, including computers, telephones, and copiers daily.
Maintains notes and compiles data to complete reports, forms, records, warranties, invoices and contracts.
Works independently in the absence of supervision.
Maintains a safe work place, observes safety and security procedures.
Communicates clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing.
Understands and follows oral and written directions.
Performs other related project management duties and responsibilities as required.

What You Need for this Position

Advanced Knowledge (minimum 5 to 10 years experience) of:
Principles and practices of HVACR maintenance and repair, including hazard and safety practices common to the trade.
HVACR controls and safety devices; appropriate MSDS sheets; tools of the trade; materials and refrigerant recovery equipment and procedures used in installing, repairing and maintaining HVACR systems.
Principles of heat transfer, combustion, temperature, pressure, electricity and magnetism.
Principles of electrical measurement, chemical reactions, and physical and chemical properties of commonly used substances such as refrigerants and hydrocarbons.
Measuring distances, angles, circles, arcs, temperatures, weights, volumes and pressures.
Formulas and equations such as volumes, pressures and degrees.
Financial management.
Computers, MS Windows Systems, MS Word and MS Excel.
CAD system and Wendes system operation.
E-mail software and use of the internet.
Time management procedures and organizational skills.
Negotiating skills.
Management of employees.

Licenses, Certificates and Memberships:
High School Diploma or GED.
A valid Professional Engineer license is preferred.
Maintain a valid driver's license at all times.
Maintain a valid OSHA 30-hour safety certificate at all times.So, if you are a Project Engineer with experience, please apply today!

The role of a Senior Project Manager is to manage the design and delivery of large projects and maintaining and improving relations with current and future clients. As a leader they will be responsible for the development and delivery of successful civil projects such as bridges, railroads, roads, airports, retaining walls, tunnels, and transit structures. A Senior Project Manager will provide direct supervision; act as an advisor and actively involved to meet schedules and resolve problems. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the scope and integration of subcontractors and employees. It is expected that the Senior Project Manager supports business development and the delivery of proposals while maintaining relationships with clients. Your Key Responsibilities * Manages transportation projects from conception to delivery, including bringing in new clients and managing existing client relationships. * Write and negotiate proposals with clients or reviewing agencies. * Lead and be actively engaged with prospective client's relationship building and maintenance. * Accountable for project performance and deliverables. * Responsible for the review and sealing of projects. * Supervises the work of other engineers. * Leads the preparation and coordination of the project specifications with construction documents. * Responsible for invoicing, managing and monitoring financial performance of project budgets using PM dashboard access. * Performs on technically complex projects and acts as a technical resource by providing guidance to other team members. * Liaise with clients, agencies and others to obtain and determine project requirements and approvals. * Stays up to date on regulatory changes and may establish working relationships with regulatory officials. * Participate in client functions, trade shows and conferences. Your Capabilities and Credentials * Efficient project management of multiple concurrent projects. * Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manages time to meet project budget and schedule. * Understands client expectations, budgeting, proposal writing, invoicing and collecting accounts receivable. * Business development skills including experience building and maintaining productive relationships with a client base. * Technical expert in all relevant areas of design and understanding of various design methods. * Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office. * Effective communicator and able to work on and lead teams. Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field. * Licensed Professional Engineer. * Minimum of 10-20 years of experience in business growth and delivery in the transportation industry preferably in roadways, bridges, aviation, or rail. * Experience and contacts within local and state agencies. * Design/build experience a plus.
