A HVAC Mechanical Engineer job in Matthews, NC is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for the primary point of contact with the clients and will have some responsibility for project execution. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering discipline, and five or more years of experience designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities. HVAC Mechanical Engineer Job duties:

  • Designing chemical, food, and pharmaceutical process facilities.

  • Identifying, selecting and recommending process equipment solutions for clients.

  • Preparing key client deliverables including equipment data sheets, HVAC drawing packages, stress analysis, and design calculations.

  • Support the preparation of RFQ"s, bid evaluations & coordination with vendors.

  • Preparing cost estimates.

Qualifications:

  • BS Mechanical Engineering and five to ten years as mechanical engineer with projects in the chemical, manufacturing and industrial markets.

  • PE License is required.

  • Expertise with HVAC design including chillers, cooling towers and other HVAC related equipment and systems using AutoCAD.

  • Experience/knowledge of project coordination.
