Complete Building Services is looking to add a HVAC-R Mechanic to our facility team. This person's focus would be supporting the commercial kitchen and associated areas within the building as a stationary position in Washington, DC.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair of refrigerant systems and associated equipment
Operate and maintain Preventive Maintenance services for commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, kitchen hoods, commercial dishwashers, walk-in coolers & freezers and subsystems
Conduct routine inspections of all kitchen equipment daily
Perform Refrigerant recovery and recycling
Interface with building managers and other customer representatives with goal of client satisfaction
Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
Place and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
Maintain inventory, purchase materials and supplies, as required for timely repair
Perform other related duties as assigned
5 years of experience working on commercial HVAC-R
3 years of experience working on commercial kitchen experience
Certified Food Equipment Service technician preferred
Commercial refrigeration and/or commercial cooking equipment repair experience
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, electrical experience, troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics
Universal CFC Certification Required
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor
Self-motivated to work independently and part of a team
Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
