Rooter Hero is Hiring for a new HVAC Manager!

As our HVAC Manager, you will play a critical role in leading, coaching, and developing a diverse team that includes service technicians, salespeople, logistics coordinators, and installers. Your goal will be to strategically guide your team to meet and exceed revenue targets and key performance indicators, all while fostering a positive, collaborative environment. With a focus on growth, you’ll be responsible for hiring top talent, managing day-to-day operations, and creating tailored solutions to support the long-term success of both the team and the organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct regular crew meetings with Technicians, Installers & Sales People to address operational concerns, share performance results, and complete safety training 
  • Partner with the Regional Vice President to manage marketing costs on a daily basis to ensure monthly targets are met 
  • Manage individual technician performance through coaching, 1:1 meetings, and progressive discipline
  • Work with the Regional Vice President to review monthly financial statements to identify ways to reduce direct costs and maximize profits 
  • Oversee all active jobs and office staff to ensure jobs are closed out in a timely and accurate manner. Preferably in no more than 10 days 
  • Hire and recruit the appropriate number of field personnel to meet call demand 
  • Maintain vehicles and equipment to minimize repair costs and availability to our team 
  • Meet or Exceed monthly revenue targets and Key Performance Indicators outlined in the annual bonus program 
  • Ensure all company rules, policies and procedures are followed
  • Assist the Regional Vice President with tasks or pilot programs
  • Order uniforms for technicians.
  • Conduct onboarding with all new hires
  • Attend all necessary meetings related to the shop and management team

Requirements

  • Prior work experience in the service industry; preferably Plumbing or HVAC.
  • 2 successful years in a Leadership Role 
  • Preferably understands and used Service Titan 
  • Be able to drive to customer’s homes 
  • Be able to travel to corporate headquarters or Rooter Hero Service Locations for meetings and/or training by car and/or airplane 
  • Must be able to drive in the field 
  • Must be able to bend, sit, stand, and squat for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work under various weather conditions 
  • Must be able to handle entire division needs either through delegation or on-call
