Hvac Journeyman II

Rooms To Go is hiring an HVAC Journeyman to join our growing team.

What you will be doing:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial use.

• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.

• Travel to various locations, and work with facilities management to ensure PM schedules are being met.

• Standard weekday work schedules. Infrequent schedule changes as needed to service emergency needs of our facilities and or special projects.

• Maintain good working order of company equipment, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out electronic work orders

• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment.

• Ensures work is performed in a timely manner and prioritizes critical repairs.

• Ability to work as a team and independently.

• Additional duties as directed by supervisors.

What we're looking for:

• Must be able to install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial units up to 20 tons.

• Must be able to diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.

• Must be able to travel to various locations, and work with facilities management to ensure PM schedules are being met.

• Must have a universal EPA certification

• Must have 5 years of experience or a combination of experience and vocational education.

• Must have the ability to work indoors/outdoors in hot, cold and/or sudden temperature changes including humidity.

• Must be able to climb up/down ladders and work from heights.
