Facilities Management is responsible for maintaining campus buildings utilizing the carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC trades as well as housekeeping and floor maintenance.
Purpose of the Position
This position will assist the HVAC Installation and Repair Technicians in repair of HVAC systems with emphasis on performing preventative maintenance on all systems. Additionally, it will look for and report any unsafe conditions to the Supervisor and perform all work in a safe and conscientious manner. This position performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position
Knowledge of the use of tools associated with the HVAC trade
Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to keep adequate records
Proficient in computer applications
Ability to obtain a Universal EPA License within 1 year of employment
Ability to abide by all safety policies and wear personal protective equipment as required
Ability to be on-call on a rotational basis
Ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Experience in mechanical repair.
Additional Consideration(s)
Education:
Training in mechanical repair service work related to HVAC systems.
Universal EPA License.
Experience:
Experience working in a college or university setting.
Salary Information Starting at $35,487.00, Commensurate with Education and Experience CNU Information
