Requirements:
1) Must have a minimum of three (3) years professional work experience in HVAC trades; experience in heating, ventilating and air conditioning installation, repair and maintenance work. Two of the three years can be substituted with related course work (up to 48 units). Must have knowledge of proper methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of heating and air conditioning, pipe fitting, and sheet metal work. Must have knowledge of California HVAC Code standards. 2) Must have (or apply for) a California Career Technical Education Teaching credential. Assistance is provided with the application process.
