Hvac Construction Project Manager

Commercial Construction HVAC Project Manager Grand Rapids, MI Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids, seeks to add another experienced and motivated Commercial Construction HVAC Project Manager to our team Vander Hyde Mechanical is a growing leader in the residential and commercial Heating/Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical industry and has proudly been in business for over 35 years Integrity, technical expertise, and high-quality workmanship are the guiding principles of the Vander Hyde team. Competence in troubleshooting and interpreting diagrams & blueprints. A thorough understanding of production will influence the cost of a service or product. Ability to prepare material, labor, and cost estimates for the project.

Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors. Have the ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish. Maintain strict Quality control of installed products with field personnel.

Ability to use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis. Extensive knowledge of the HVAC domain and all of its offerings. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Procore is preferred.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ensure scheduled requirements are met for all active projects. Understanding of HVAC equipment selections - indoor, outdoor, and evaporator match.

Understanding of hydronic boilers, water heaters, and zone systems. Requirements: Computer proficiency Minimum of 7 years Construction HVAC field experience Dependable, detailed, and organized. Valid Driver's License & insurable driving record Ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams.
