Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids is seeking to add another experienced and motivated Commercial Construction HVAC Project Manager to our team!

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities:

• Competence in troubleshooting, interpreting diagrams & blueprints.

• Thorough understanding of production that will influence the cost of a service or product.

• Ability to prepare material, labor and cost estimates for the project.

• Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors.

• Have the ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish.

• Maintain strict Quality control of installed products with field personnel.

• Ability to use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis.

• Extensive knowledge of the HVAC domain and all of its offerings.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Procore is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ensure scheduled requirements are met for all active projects.

• Understanding of HVAC equipment selections - indoor, outdoor and evaporator match.

• Understanding of hydronic boilers, water heaters and zone systems.

Requirements:

• Computer proficiency

• Minimum of 7 years Commercial HVAC field experience

• Dependable, detailed and organized.

• Valid Driver's License & insurable driving record

• Ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams.

• Knowledge and understanding of state, local and mechanical codes.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday

• Friday 8:00 am

• 5:00 pm Based on demand, hours may vary.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
