HVAC - Chiller Technician - Clinton IA

Pay Range: $28.00+ Starting pay is dependent on skills & background

Shift(s) Available: 12 - hour shifts rotating Days and Nights. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and on occasion different shifts with advance notice as needed.

Position Summary:

Service and maintain industrial heating and air conditioning systems (including but not limited to industrial chillers) at a world-scale corn milling plant with a heavy emphasis on Maintenance Reliability.

Job Requirements:

• Willingness to work rotating shifts

• Direct industrial maintenance experience or exposure to industrial maintenance preferred

• Computer skills - a must

• Experience with HVAC and industrial chillers preferred

• Training in PLC, electrical and/or instrumentation work a plus.

• EPA refrigerant license or willingness to obtain it

• Experience with CMMS - a strong plus

• Experience in HVAC and/or similar military environment (preferred)

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in Industrial Chillers and/or similar military environment (preferred)

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred with strong HVAC background

• Detailed oriented and self-motivated

• Strong safety aptitude

• Basic math and reading skills

• Motivated with a passion to learn

Physical Requirements

• Ability to endure extensive walking, standing, climbing steps, ladders and platforms.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., shovels 35 lbs., and pulls / pushes 1200 lbs. with material handling equipment.

• Must be able to climb, kneel, crawl and work at elevation.

• Must be able to work at high elevations, in confined areas, in extreme heat and cold and in outside conditions on a regular basis.
