WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on all types of HVACequipment.

  • Performs daily walk-through and changes belts on exhaust fans and all HVACequipment as needed; changes paper and metal filters as necessary.

  • Maintains inventory and orders parts required for all equipment.

  • Cleans supplies and returns for rooftop units.

  • Assists with snow removal as directed.

  • Troubleshoots equipment problems, performs diagnosis, and corrects/repairs if possible.

  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum four (4) years of HVACexperience required; or Associate degree in related field and three (3) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous experience using a hi-lift preferred.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Must have thorough and in-depth knowledge of all types of HVACequipment including SEMCO units, McQuay air chillers, generators, cooling towers, etc.

  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position.

  • Ability to safely work on elevated surfaces via the use of scaffolding, ladders, and lifts.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and perfect and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.

  • Ability to move effectively and efficiently around work area.
