Responsibilities

Currently, Rowan Community is seeking a Full time HUMAN RESOURCES/ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSOCIATE at their 72 bed skilled nursing community located in Denver, Colorado.

The primary responsibility the HUMAN RESOURCES/ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSOCIATE is to support the human resource and accounts payable functions following current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care and assisted living facilities. You are entrusted to assure that quality personnel are interviewed, trained and employed. A successful HUMAN RESOURCES/ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSOCIATE in our community has these traits and attributes:

  • Must be able to handle multiple deadlines

  • Must be able to juggle multiple positions

  • Fast learner and attention to detail

  • Great time management skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associates Degree in Business Administration preferred, but not required.

  • Must have, as a minimum one (1) year administrative experience.

  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google).

  • Bank or account reconciliations.

  • Two years' experience as an HR practitioner is preferred.

  • Experience in health care accounting preferred but not required

  • Must have understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws

Duties and Responsibilities * Serve as accounting liaison with vendors * Develop and implement Accounts Payable processes for at least 20 entities * Perform data entry in QuickBooks * Work with store-level Managers to resolve Accounts Payable issues * Communicate and problem solve with employees and management * Attend required management meetings * Reconcile all incoming Accounts Payable statements * Assist with reconciliation of inter-company accounts * Assist in monthly sales tax preparation and processing * Open, sort, and process company mail and email * Code invoices to correct accounts * Journal entries * Filing, record retention, and data destruction * Develop procedures and systems to prevent future errors and streamline accounting processes * Develop and communicate strategies to increase accuracy and efficiency in record keeping * Data management and track errors * Regular attendance is expected and is considered an essential function necessary for the efficient operation of the business * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting * Preferred 2 years' experience in Data Entry or Accounting * Self-motivated, able to work independently, as well as in teams * Ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing environment * Ability to work well with all levels of integral management and staff * Excellent Customer Service and Client-Relations Skills * Ability to Maintain Confidentiality Physical Requirements * Sitting for extended periods of time * Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes Native Roots Dispensary Denver CO
