What You Will Accomplish Here
The Human Resources team at Gaming Laboratories International strategically works with Managers and employees to provide direction and operational support to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
We are searching for someone who is passionate about driving local HR capability through the development and implementation of HR programs and
processes. This position will effectively facilitate HR initiatives and support business strategies by focusing on the following:
Building High Performance Teams
Partners with Department leaders to determine recruitment needs and staffing objectives.
Develops recruitment programs to attract, identify and source qualified candidates.
Recruits the right talent for key positions through interviews and sourcing for US and Canada positions.
Fostering Engagement and Positive Relations
Helps management proactively identify and resolve issues in employee relations, coaching managers on performance management
Ensures successful implementation of key HR programs including employee engagement programs, training, and launching new human resource initiatives.
Ensures HR programs support the culture for the location, and partners with business leaders to execute on location specific programs.
Supporting Department and Company Objectives
Recommends improvements to HR policies, training programs, wellness programs, etc.
Provides guidance, support and consultation to both leadership and employees regarding policy recommendations and strategic Human Resources practices.
Experience, Education, Skills and Credentials:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field is required;
Experience in a similar position may be evaluated and considered in lieu of the educational requirements
PHR preferred, but not required
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, including prior supervisory experience, recruiting, employee relations and working on HR projects is required
Experience working with Canadian recruitment and employee relations is preferred, but not required
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and Word is required
Prior HRIS, HCM, ATS and LMS experience is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
Must demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, attention to detail, and quality management
Valid driver's license required
Available for business travel up to 10%
Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation
