Human Resources Specialist/Executive Assistant

Education Service Center (ESC)

Program Assistant Terms and Conditions of Employment

Job Level 7 ($55,589 to $71,528 annually plus benefits)

Eight hours of paid time plus 30 minutes of unpaid lunch time per day

52 weeks per year

Hours: 6:30 am -3:00 pm

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrative Assistant support to the Executive Director of Human Resources

  • Manage Executive Director's calendar, HR budget, supply orders, and process check requests

  • Manage new hiring processes for coaches, substitutes, casual including summer employees and student interns including documentation and assignment changes in Skyward

  • Schedule/Run orientations for incoming coaches, substitutes, casual employees and student interns

  • Maintain personnel files in LaserFiche

  • Process employee name and address changes in Skyward

  • Operate and maintain Frontline Absence Management (AESOP) for employees and substitutes and Employee Evaluation Management

  • Assist employees and substitutes with general questions

  • Work in collaboration with administration and employees to provide long-term substitutes for leaves of absences

  • Coordinate the annual teacher attendance incentive

  • Provide assistance to outside agency staff for district privileges

  • Support AFSCME employees: professional development, coaching, mentorship

  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Human Resources

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical or college degree or five years of equivalent experience preferred

  • Knowledge of Skyward and Microsoft Office preferred

  • Excellent computer, organizational, and customer service skills

  • Commitment to be a successful team player

  • Able to work regularly and report to work in a timely manner
