Human Resources Specialist/Executive Assistant

Program Assistant Terms and Conditions of Employment
Job Level 7 ($55,589 to $71,528 annually plus benefits)
Eight hours of paid time plus 30 minutes of unpaid lunch time per day
52 weeks per year
Hours: 6:30 am -3:00 pm
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Assistant support to the Executive Director of Human Resources
Manage Executive Director's calendar, HR budget, supply orders, and process check requests
Manage new hiring processes for coaches, substitutes, casual including summer employees and student interns including documentation and assignment changes in Skyward
Schedule/Run orientations for incoming coaches, substitutes, casual employees and student interns
Maintain personnel files in LaserFiche
Process employee name and address changes in Skyward
Operate and maintain Frontline Absence Management (AESOP) for employees and substitutes and Employee Evaluation Management
Assist employees and substitutes with general questions
Work in collaboration with administration and employees to provide long-term substitutes for leaves of absences
Coordinate the annual teacher attendance incentive
Provide assistance to outside agency staff for district privileges
Support AFSCME employees: professional development, coaching, mentorship
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Human Resources
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical or college degree or five years of equivalent experience preferred
Knowledge of Skyward and Microsoft Office preferred
Excellent computer, organizational, and customer service skills
Commitment to be a successful team player
Able to work regularly and report to work in a timely manner
