We are currently seeking an experienced:


HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST Full Time, Days Job Description:Assists new employees with signing tax forms, deduction cards, form I-9, etc. Sends payroll file maintenance information for all hires, changes and terminations to Central Office. Maintains credentials of all professional employees and Nurse Aide Certification for CNA#s. Distributes evaluation notices to Department Directors, compiles list of evaluations due and follows up to assure timely completion. Files workers compensation claims on a timely basis and keeps information regarding claims updated and current. Maintains employee files in an accurate easily retrievable manner. Provides general support for business office functions. Answers incoming calls and directs visitors and families to the requested/appropriate areas. Receives and distributes the mail to all departments daily. Receives and delivers any packages (flowers etc.) within the facility. Assures that outgoing mail is sent daily and that postage is available at all times. Performs typing, data entry, and secretarial duties as needed. Assists visitors, families and employees as needed. Other job duties as assigned. Job Requirements:High school graduate with clerical experience. High degree of confidentiality. Knowledge of employment rules and regulations. Ability to type 50 words per minute. Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve, and work well with others. Valid Driver#s License. Team player with a positive and considerate attitude. Delegates duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel and monitoring work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Observes patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition for signs, which may be indicative of adverse change. Assists with notifying attending physician of emergencies and death of patients in the unit. Implements orders of changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: High school graduate. Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
