REEDS Jewelers is seeking an HR/Training Specialist in our home office located in Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate will be comfortable learning new technologies, extremely efficient and have the ability to problem-solve with critical thinking skills. This opportunity offers an exposure to a wide array of areas in HR and Training including but not limited to administrative support, recruitment, training, back-up payroll and working extensively within an HRIS system. We are fast-paced and switch gears often to provide the best customer service possible to our internal clients.

Essential Responsibilities

-Responsible for developing and executing talent sourcing plans for the Company in partnership with the Hiring Manager(s). Role is responsible for posting jobs, sourcing candidates, vetting applicants, scheduling interviews, and extending offers to selected candidates.

-Partner with HR and Operations team to optimize processes and continuously improve candidate experience throughout hiring life cycle.

-Serve as brand ambassador in marketplace by supporting and championing companys diverse recruitment branding strategy to effectively attract top talent by building awareness and promoting localized recruiting efforts through social media channels.

-Perform various duties via the HRIS system including configuration, testing, report writing, training and communication. Responsible for day-to-day system support with HR/Payroll.

-Write and run HR/Payroll/Training reports to audit data for accuracy. Pull and analyze HR & Training metrics reports for reporting dashboards.

-Provide back-up support to Payroll Specialist to ensure timely completion of all payroll processing on a bi-weekly basis.

-Cross train in all areas of HR/Training to be able to provide back-up when needed.

-Partner with Training Director to create, launch and track training initiatives. Role may grow into providing some training directly.

-Manage databases utilizing Excel or HRIS reporting tools.

-Other projects and duties as assigned.

-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field.
-1-3 years experience in retail or familiarity supporting a retail environment preferred.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products with strong proficiency in Excel.
-Strong problem solving, communication, and presentation skills to interact with a variety of internal stakeholders.
-Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the customers needs and situation.
-Ability to handle multiple projects collaborating across the business to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion.
-Enthusiasm to learn new software and technology and testing new concepts. Desire to automate efficiencies through technology.
-Proven organization skills and flexibility; able to change priorities to support business strategies.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Ability to keep information confidential.
-Strong ethics.
-Bilingual a plus!
