JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY -- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Serves as the primary contact for HR related matters within a company business unit or as a member of the Corporate staff. Uses established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to support, or individually perform, a variety of specialized administrative services.
Employee will be responsible for performing the following functions/duties:
Coordinates and conducts new employee orientations
Assists unit personnel with travel arrangements and Expense Report preparation and processing.
Communicates and distributes HR-related information and documentation such as employee benefits, HR and Company policies and procedures
Documents, processes, and maintains records in support of HR-related issues
If assigned to a remote business unit or segment, serves as the HR liaison between the facility and the HR Corporate Office
Develops staffing plans in conjunction with management
Acts as the site Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) representative
Prepares affirmative action and EEO reports
Assists in preparing position descriptions
Conducts job evaluations and coordinates approval process
Monitors performance management system for compliance with Company policy and prepares reports to identify rating distributions
Counsels employees on benefit plan options and employee eligibility
Assists in the preparation of benefit plan communications and maintains benefit records.
Processes personnel actions into the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
Assists in HRIS design and system development and enhancements
Prepares and/or supervise preparation of complex statistical reports and summaries
Performs related work as required.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources is required and at least six years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of formal training and related work experience.
In addition, a HR Specialist III must possess the following qualifications:
Good oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications
Ability to perform detail-oriented work
Must possess planning/organizing skills
Must be able to work under deadline
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $63,000 - $87,000 annually.
Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

OTHER RESPONSIBLITIES
Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting up to (30) pounds, constant sitting and use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands.
This position will require travel to Colorado Springs and the Nevada Test and Training Ranges.
