Summary

This position will be located in DCAA Headquarters, Fort Belvoir, VA OR at a DCAA Center of Resource Excellence location (La Palma CA, Smyrna, GA, Lowell MA, Cherry Hill, NJ, King of Prussia, PA or Irving TX). Location of the position will be determined at the time of selection.

Responsibilities

  • This position is located within the Workforce Acquisition and Management (WAM) Branch, Human Capital Division (CP), Human Capital and Resources Management Directorate (HCRM), within Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).

  • Applies high-level data systems analysis and the breakdown on metrics from the Policy (CPP) Human Resources Information Systems Team (HRIT) on recruitment, placement, and classification time to hire (TTH) data for the WAM Branch.

  • Identifies the intricacies of which decision points feed into the HR System Infrastructure, properly track these steps through the HR System, develop program metrics and generate usable reports.

  • Develops statistical feedback reports that identify program trends that can be used by hiring managers and HR staff in making program modifications.

  • Serves as subject matter expert and provides advice and guidance to WAM Branch users on HR automated systems like DCPDS, Agency specific systems, and new HR systems like Defense Civilian Human Resources Management System (DCHRMS).

Specialized experience is defined as: utilizing human resources data system(s) and applications; analyzing personnel data and ensuring data integrity to generate reports and make recommendations to management.

Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Learn more about this agency Responsibilities * Serves as Chief, Branch of Policies and Program over a team of Human Resources (HR) professionals. * Plans, directs and implements comprehensive Agency-wide Human Resources policy and programs including staffing, classification, performance management, compensation, leave, employee relations, and work/life. * Provides complex consultation, guidance and support in applying and implementing HR policies and programs to Agency strategic plan objectives, goal, and mission requirements. * Orients and promotes an understanding and appreciation of HR policies and programs with all employees.
