Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in safety programs designed to assure safe working conditions and eliminate lost time due to accidents. Keep safety awareness in high priority, and assure all employees are aware that safety is the company's number-one priority.
Provide recruiting support: post positions and advertising, contact applicants, conduct applicant screening, and coordinate the selection process with all key team members.
Create and maintain an effective requisition process for all hourly positions.
Closely track comings and goings, and provide reports to monitor the effectiveness of our recruiting efforts.
Assure accurate and timely database updates for the HRIS, time tracking systems and safety records database.
Perform JDE functions such as creating purchase orders, and processing invoices and check requests, as needed.

Maintain good communication and a positive relationship with plant employees that promotes employee satisfaction.
Assist plant management in organizing, developing, and implementing recognition events, including plant social events and plant performance-related recognition events. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for tracking attendance, turnover, safety, and other company programs, such as perfect attendance.
Assist with the organization of company functions such as parties and meetings.
One-to-six years' previous administrative experience, preferably within human resources or employee relations.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to provide superior customer service.
Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software.
Ability to learn other computer applications.
Must be flexible, have concern for accuracy, be an effective communicator, take initiative, excel at teamwork, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred: Ability to manage high-level human resources activities (FMLA, recruiting, and employee relations).
