Barilla America, Inc. wants to recruit a Human Resources Specialist 2 within Supply Chain based in Ames, Iowa. The individual will report to the Human Resources Manager.
Coordinates all recruiting efforts for hourly position openings within the Ames Plant.
Organizes all job fairs, advertising and recruiting needs.
Works with department managers and supervisors to establish the needs of the position.
Coordinates and organizes new hire orientation with new hires and department managers.
Maintains all employee files
Processes all changes in employee information and communicates to the appropriate people needing the information changes.
Tracks and reports all training hours and completes monthly reports.
Responsible for the SuccessFactors LMS system.
Build strong working relationships with all employees.
Coordinates community outreach activities
Responsible for overseeing security vendor and assessing security needs.
Responsible for managing the shift and employee lists
This role will serve as a backup for Ames Plant Payroll
Works with area supervisors to asses needs for team building events, organizes and facilitates events.
Comply with the environmental policies and procedures at Barilla Ames facility including energy efficiency, reduce re-use recycle goals, reporting requirements and sustainable initiatives. Complete any environmental tasks as assigned and report environmental concerns immediately.
Follows ISO22000 policies and procedures, address / communicate quality and food safety issues as they occur.
Required to be a FSMA qualified individual, following all requirements from FSMA regulations
Ensure compliance and understanding for quality procedures that directly tie to food safetyPRPs, OPRPs, CCPs and FSMA requirements
Other duties as assigned.
Requires a HS diploma and 2-4 years human resources administrative experience.
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills and good working relationships with other employees.
