Join our dynamic HR Team! Engage in a variety of HR functions as a leading resource for manufacturing locations in various states. Based from our main office in Anderson, California.

About The Position

  • Establish yourself as a resource and partner with HR Coordinators and production Managers at 20+ manufacturing locations

  • HR responsibilities in diverse functional areas such as recruiting and selection, employee relations, training, employment practices, affirmative action, and payroll processes

  • Learn and grow in level of responsibility through identifying opportunities, taking initiative, and effective collaboration

  • Lead development and implementation of effective HR programs and processes

  • Collaborate and mentor to improve recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices at manufacturing locations

  • Engage with employees to answer questions or address concerns, and assist in conducting investigations

  • Gain proficiency in the Company's HR Information and Payroll systems

  • Audit and monitor Company HR policies and practices to find opportunities for training and improvement

  • As part of a team, develop training opportunities and effective internal communications

Qualifications

  • 2 years HR-specific experience, or education equivalent

  • Preference given to applicants with HR related education or credentials

  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws

  • Proven ability to work independently, discretely, and handle confidential information

  • Experience identifying and analyzing issues, and applying appropriate decisions with minimal management intervention

  • Skill in leadership, communication, motivation, and people management

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to achieve expected results

  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

VIEW JOBS 7/29/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-10-27T00:00 <p>Job Description</p><p>Our Forestry Division, Lassen District, has an opening for a qualified District Forester to help sustainably manage the Company's timberlands in Shasta and Tehama Counties. This professional position will involve all aspects of resource management. Work will be out of the Main Office in Anderson, CA requiring living in one of the surrounding communities.</p><p>About The Position</p><ul><li><p>Develop and prepare Timber Harvest Plans (THP's), including research, field work, mapping and writing</p></li><li><p>Administer contracts for field operations including marking, logging, and road construction</p></li><li><p>Plan and implement vegetation management fuels reduction treatments and reforestation related activities</p></li><li><p>Effectively and professionally interact with State regulatory agencies</p></li><li><p>Conduct surveys including botanical, wildlife, and archeological</p></li><li><p>Forestry-related project work in a wide range of weather and field conditions</p></li><li><p>Hike in remote mountainous regions using maps, compass, and GPS</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li><p>A California Registered Professional Forester (RPF) license or 4 years' experience in forestry work under the supervision of an RPF preferred</p></li><li><p>A Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, Agriculture, or a related field desired</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with the California Forest Practice Rules, and knowledge of THP preparation</p></li><li><p>Understanding of logging and road construction operations</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and strong work ethic</p></li><li><p>Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, and GIS-based software programs</p></li><li><p>Ability to successfully work both independently and as a team member</p></li><li><p>Current valid driver's license and the ability to utilize a 4wd vehicle to safely negotiate mountain roads</p></li></ul><p>Why Join Our Team?</p><p>Because this is more than an invitation, it's a commitment to offer opportunities for personal and professional growth to everyone!
