Job Description

The Human Resources Senior Manager will report to the Senior Director of HR R&D and will support the PepsiCo Global R&D GFGC teams, including: Nutrition Science, Quality Assurance Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, PSI (Process, Systems, and Information), Measurement Sciences, and Sensory and Consumer Products Insight teams.

This role will provide daily HR Business Partner support to virtual organization comprised of 800 people worldwide across 11 different sites globally

  • Role includes: employee relations, performance management and leadership development

  • The Sr HR Manager will partner with local management team by planning and executing strategic HR initiatives that support the business

  • The Sr HRM is responsible for all HR Fundamentals (comp, benefits, staffing, etc.), Employee Relations, and Change Management. The Sr HRM and Leadership team will work closely together to advocate for employees and partner with business teams to inspire greatness in our people, evolve the culture and drive sustainable business growth

  • Support and guide employees regarding Company policies, HR programs (benefits, pay and salary) administration and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and in a timely manner.

  • Partner with global HR teams to ensure decisions meet local guidelines and policies.

  • Must accurately diagnose organization issues, develop solutions and implement action plans. Ensure a positive workplace.

  • Must ensure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations across the globe (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, global work councils,etc).

  • Assists leadership in managing performance and developing succession plans.

  • Lead talent acquisition and below band people planning processes within organization to build strong talent bench, ensuring breadth of talent exists within the organization for future innovation needs.

  • Ability to understand the global R&D business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective.

  • Must be a confident communicator, (including both written and verbal) and the ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization, including the senior leadership team.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Lead efforts to create a supportive culture through Employee Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives, Rewards and Recognition Execution, and organizational health action planning.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Human Resources required. Masters degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 -10 years of HR Generalist experience with roles increasing in responsibility.

  • Experience providing HR support for large, dynamic organizations is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of Immigration laws and processes required

  • Consumer Packaged Goods Experience preferred.

  • Must be willing to travel 15-20%
