You will join our Americas Human Resources Operations department
As our new Regional HR Generalist you will be part of a team of Generalists within our HR Operations department. You will work independently as well as collaborate within the Operations team and across the whole Human Resources department. Together, we ensure that we remain in compliance while providing an excellent employee experience.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Function as main point of contact for operational Human Resources issues for US West coast employees
Collaborate with Benefits Partner on leaves of absence for West region including San Francisco, all of California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on CA and other relevant state and local regulations, ensure compliance
Implement changes to HR Operations policies and procedures as regulations change
Provide guidance and interpretation on policies and regulations for payroll and benefit administration
Ensure efficient HR Operations services: high quality with high speed for the business and employees during the whole employment life cycle
Maintain and develop guidelines and processes, educate employees. Generalists will be supporting approx. 450 - 500 employees each depending on other roles/tasks.

Accredited certification such as Professional in Human Resources - California (PHRca), Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) with California Law HR Specialty, or similar required
3+ years of hands-on experience in HR Operations for a multi-state enterprise, specifically dealing with California state laws and local ordinances
Experience managing complex leaves of absence
Experience with data management in HRIS required; specific HR Coordinator experience in Workday HRIS highly desired
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field highly desired; Associates' degree required
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: being highly organized with meticulous attention to detail; take initiative to stay current on new legislation; comfortable with change management; collaborative; having excellent customer service skills.
