Recruiter Position Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for the overall recruiting strategy for the company. This includes sourcing strategies, partnering with schools, diversity initiatives, branding and advertising methods (including social media), and staffing agency partnerships. Additional responsibilities include consulting with hiring managers, resume review and assessment, candidate interviews and managing internship program.

Responsibilities

Recruiter Essential Job Functions

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

  • Identifies and implements efficient, effective and diverse recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

  • Manage job postings and advertisement methods, use multiple tools including applicant tracking system (iCIMS) and social media platforms.

  • Source candidates, screen resumes and select qualified candidates for the next step in the recruitment process.

  • Conduct phone interviews of candidates and submit qualified candidates to hiring managers.

  • Schedule interviews and assist newer hiring managers on the interview process.

  • Utilize the applicant tracking system (iCIMS) to extend offers of employment, candidate acceptance or counteroffers, and schedule pre-employment required testing.

  • Develop a relationship with local high schools, technical schools and universities for career days, career fairs, onsite company tours and classroom visits.

  • Coordinate and implement internship program with HR team members. Develop and implement recruitment practices to ensure a diverse set of students are hired to meet the business needs.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

Recruiter Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA's and certifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience, HR designation a plus

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in recruitment of both exempt and non-exempt positions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience developing and implementing a sourcing strategy, including branding and advertising experience, along with utilizing social media platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with schools (high schools, technical colleges, and universities)

  • Experience monitoring recruiting metrics with the ability to take actions as necessary for improvement.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations and the impact to recruitment related efforts.

  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS

  • Ability to partner in order to develop strong working relationships internally and externally

  • Strong communication, influence, persuasion and negotiation skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Strong service orientation with business-driven mindset, sense of urgency and continual drive for process improvement

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

  • Ability to travel as needed

Recruiter Desirable Criteria & Qualifications

  • HR Certification

  • Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations

  • Medical device recruitment strongly preferred

  • Previous experience leading internship programs

This position will perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations and setups on blasting, buffing, polishing, laser marking, laser welding, and deburring equipment. Other processes include light assembly and packaging components and product in preparation for shipping.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>Deburring / 2nd Ops Technician Essential Job Functions</p><ul><li><p>Set up and operate equipment for laser marking, laser welding, blasting, buffing, polishing, assembly, and deburring</p></li><li><p>Finish products in accordance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements</p></li><li><p>Use basic inspection equipment such as a micrometer, caliper, Micro Vu, Optical Comparator plug gages and thread gages to inspect parts</p></li><li><p>Read and understand basic blueprints</p></li><li><p>Assemble and package diversified medical components, sub-assemblies, or products to customer requirements to procedure, instructions, and prints</p></li><li><p>Perform a variety of duties such as molding, washing, label printing, labeling, deburring, tray and pouch packaging and sealing and boxing for sterilization.</p></li><li><p>Deburr parts to print using deburring knives, hand grinding tool, dremel, or other deburring tools</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><p>Deburring / 2nd Ops Technician Minimum Requirements, Education &amp; Experience (incl.
