Overview

Neenah is growing and we are actively searching for a Human Resource - Project Manager to add to our Corporate Human Resources team. The HR - Project Manager will be responsible for partnering with the Company's Chief Administrative Officer & Chief Human Resources Officer and other key cross-functional leaders to breathe life into every aspect of the employee experience at Neenah, to include but not limited to engagement, communications, total rewards, performance management, talent development, succession planning and the global learning strategies. This role will report to the Chief Administrative Officer & Chief Human Resources Officer, serving in a "Chief of Staff" type of capacity and will be based in our world headquarters in Alpharetta, GA.

The successful candidate will be a proven talent or HR leader with significant experience executing broad-scaled programs in a global company. Individuals must be strong communicators, highly organized and have sharp analytical approach. The candidate must be comfortable working in a Center of Excellence (COE) environment with strong Human Resource business partners to help support the Company's internal clients (leaders & HRBPs) and consumers (all employees).

Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the CHRO & CAO and team to facilitate efficient communication, decision-making, and action.

  • Ensure that all elements of the talent and communications strategies advances on time and on budget.

  • With an eye on continuous improvement, constantly identify gaps or inefficiencies

  • Work closely with the CHRO & CAO and his team on both strategic projects, as well as tactical execution of the talent and communications agendas.

  • Develop and maintain all talent and communications related scorecards.

  • Partner with the CHRO & CAO to ensure all senior leaders remain up-to-speed in real-time on progression of strategic initiatives.

  • Manage HR and communications budgets and forecasting.

  • Drive continuous process and workflow improvements, as well as continued improvements in documentation and support.

  • Develop HR and communications team meeting cadences and develop agendas, takeaways, track actions.

  • Coordinate all activities related to Compensation Committee agenda and materials.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of talent-related projects.

  • Ensure that all HR and Communications projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.

  • Develop detailed and comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress.

  • Manage changes to project scopes, project schedules and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Report and escalate project issues as needed.

  • Manages the relationship with all stakeholders.

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors on all talent-related projects.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

  • Clarify specific requirements of each project.

  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA or University degree.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with demonstrated experience working in fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work successfully in a highly matrixed environment.

  • 10-12+ years of experience developing and deploying impactful talent solutions in a complex global company.

  • Highly organized with large-scale project management and program rollout experience.

  • Ability to generate results through influence in a matrix environment with multiple and diverse global stakeholders.

  • Creative yet extremely practical.

  • Demonstrated capability to interact directly with senior leaders and management.

  • Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize and effectively manage multiple complex projects concurrently and develop in a fast-paced environment.

  • Very strong analytical capability.

  • Ability to partner in a seamless, integrated HR model where an employee's life cycle is at the center of all HR processes.

  • Demonstrated service mentality.

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency.

  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated "get things done" mentality.

  • Demonstrated track record of successful large, scale program roll-out, including change management and communications.

  • High degree of managerial courage.
