GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
The Brookfield Public Schools Human Resources Supervisor is a vital partner to the operational business units of the Brookfield Public School District. The HR Supervisor supports the organization by serving as a strategic partner while continuing to oversee the day-to-day operations of the human resources department. The HR Supervisor supervises the following functional areas of Human Resources - employee relations, contract implementation, talent acquisition (recruitment and retention efforts), CSDE Compliance, and FMLA.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in public sector human resources with previous supervisory and/or managerial experience preferred.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
The Human Resource Supervisor must have a strategic focus while maintaining the day to day operations of the department. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate the following: good problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate with large and small groups, the ability to work with others (including employees and the public), the ability to mediate in conflict situations, the ability to facilitate change, and the ability to lead by example.
A bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, management or other closely related field of study is required. A masters degree in a related field is preferred.
The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of and experience with state/federal employment-related laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, Title IX, unemployment and worker compensation. A strong familiarity with HR management systems, such as Aesop, Munis, Frontline, database software, applicant tracking, and performance evaluation is required as is training/experience in legal concepts, compliance, interpretation of contracts, personnel management practices, and information management.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Twelve month position, full time
Anticipated start date: Immediate
Salary range: $88,000-$102,000 based upon relevant experience
