OfficeTeam currently has an opening for a highly-skilled Human Resources Assistant within their team. The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for handling a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures.   • Strong familiarity with benefits coordination

  • HR (Human Resources) experience

  • Employee relations experience highly desired

  • Adeptness in HR compliance

  • Demonstrated knowledge of training development

  • Benefits administration experience preferred

  • Customer service experience

  • Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - experience in in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment

(#31320 - 10/29/18) Performs technical and communication functions in order to support consistent administration of Human Resources policies, procedures and programs. Establishes and maintains open lines of communication to effectively represent HR department services, programs and policies. Candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment so the ability to effectively prioritize tasks is imperative to be successful in this role. Must have excellent customer service skills. Responsible for updating and maintaining various HR computer systems; including but not limited to the applicant tracking system and HCM system. Performs administrative duties such as managing a multi-line telephone system, filing, drafting and maintaining documents and spreadsheets, auditing files for TJC compliance, etc. Assists with special projects as assigned. Excellent critical thinking, detail oriented and time management skills are a must. High School Graduate or Equivalent, plus two years of related experience required. Lawson experience preferred.
