Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a dynamic HR and Operations Manager to oversee all human resources activities and manage internal office operations here in downtown Portland. This is for a large property management company This role is responsible for employee relations, office culture, branding, and event planning.

You’ll manage day-to-day HR tasks while also ensuring the smooth running of internal operations and contributing to the company’s overall success. The Culture here is very family-oriented and friendly Key Responsibilities: Administer employee health and benefits plans, handling enrollments, changes, and terminations.

Serve as the main point of contact for employee questions and customer service needs. Manage new-hire processes, including I-9 verification and onboarding. Oversee the employee HR portal for PTO, performance reviews, and records management.

Assist with recruitment efforts, interview scheduling, and candidate follow-ups. Develop and enforce company policies, employee handbooks, and agreements. Coordinate marketing initiatives, branding efforts, and promotional campaigns.

Create and distribute company branding materials and event-related content. Maintain positive relationships with staff, clients, and the public. Assist in managing the company website and media presence.

Plan and implement company events, celebrations, and special projects. Ensure effective communication across all departments and leadership. What you need to have:

Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management. Understanding of HR principles and practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally high-pressure environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or 4 years of relevant experience preferred.
